Weekly Outlook: Mar 5 - Mar 9
Monday
Asia: Caixin services PMI for February is scheduled for release at 01:45 GMT.
Europe: the German and Eurozone services PMI indexes for February will be out as of 08:55 GMT and 09:00 GMT, with 57.0 and 57.6 readings seen respectively. The UK will unveil its own PMI for the services sector at 09:30 GMT. EU retail sales for January are due at 10:00 GMT.
United States: Markit’s services PMI for February will become available at 14:45 GMT, while the Institute for Supply Management is set to publish its own non-manufacturing PMI at 15:00 GMT.
Tuesday
Europe: the British Retail Consortium is expected to present its retail sales monitor for February in early morning hours (to be confirmed).
United States: factory orders for January are due for release at 15:00 GMT.
Wednesday
Europe: UK Halifax house price index for February is scheduled at 08:30 GMT, followed by a revision on Eurozone’s fourth-quarter gross domestic product as of 10:00 GMT.
United States: ADP nonfarm employment change for February is up at 13:15 GMT. Trade balance figures will be out fifteen minutes later.
Asia: Japan’s current account for January and a revision on its fourth-quarter GDP are scheduled for release as of 23:50 GMT.
Thursday
Asia: China’s trade balance for February will be available at 03:00 GMT. Analysts are forecasting a surplus expansion to $54.10 billion. Japanese household spending for January will be out at 23:30 GMT.
Europe: German factory orders for January are set for release at 07:00 GMT. Traders will closely watch the ECB interest rate decision at 12:45 GMT.
Friday</p>
Asia: China’s consumer price index and producer price index for February are up at 01:30 GMT.
Europe: Germany’s industrial production and trade balance for January are due at 07:00 GMT. UK industrial and manufacturing production for January will be out at 09:30 GMT, along with trade balance figures.
United States: focus will be at a fresh employment report by the US Labor Department, with average hourly earnings, nonfarm payrolls and the unemployment rate coming at 13:30 GMT.
