Posted by Anonymous at 09:41 Labels: what’s next

DAX

The DAX index futures was unchanged at 12,764.00 points by 04:45 GMT, showing little movements ahead of some economic reports in Germany and the United States.

The German index ended in green territory on Thursday, adding 0.15 percent, or 19.74 points, to 12,794.00 by the closing bell, with Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverages and Healthcare and Basic Resources contributing the most gains.

Looking at best performers of the session, Thyssenkrupp AG O.N. leading advancers with a 4.57 percent increase to 25.300, followed by Merck KGaA moving 2.48 percent higher to 111.70. Volkswagen AG VZO O.N. edged up 1.81 percent or 2.40 points to 134.65 at the closing bell.

On the downside, Linde AG O.N. lost 1.59 percent to 173.20, while Heidelbergcement AG O.N. fell 1.21 percent to finish at 85.780 and Deutsche Bank AG NA O.N. marking a 0.99 percent decline to 15.045.

Today, investors will keep an eye on German manufacturing and non-manufacturing PMIs for June, both set for released at 07:30 GMT and with market analysts forecasting 59.0 and 55.5 points respectively.

In the United States, investors will also be looking at the manufacturing and services PMIs for June at 13:45 GMT, along with new home sales for May as of 14:00 GMT.

Oil prices will also be on the watchlist, with Baker Hughes expected to present the latest US oil rig count at 17:00 GMT. Investors are pending on incoming data due to rising concerns that OPEC-led output cuts wouldn’t be able to fight an ongoing crude overhang.
